Wellington Boots

As you know, at Regent Farm we believe in outdoor play and endeavour to get outside whatever the weather.

If you would like to send in a pair of wellington boots to be kept at school (Early Years already have this in place) please do. The wellingtons can be kept in a bag on your child’s peg to ensure that they are not caught out in wet weather. Please label the wellies with your child’s name and class to keep them safe. Unfortunately over the last few days, many children have had to suffer with soggy feet!

Year 1 Bake Sale

Our Bake Sale this month will take place on Friday 30th January at 3.15pm. Hopefully this will take place outside the main doors if the weather is fine. If the weather is wet or windy the sale will take place in the foyer, outside of the small hall. Year 1 children are asked to bring in their baked (or bought) goodies on Friday morning ready for the sale.

Please do not bring dogs onto the school grounds or tie them up at the school gates

We have recently received comments from parents who are concerned that many are finding the presence of dogs on the school grounds stressful and even dangerous, particularly for younger children. We are concerned that even well-behaved dogs can behave unpredictably when placed in busy, noisy environments. Children can also behave in an unpredictable fashion when in the presence of dogs and this can potentially lead to a child being hurt. As you can imagine, we also have health and safety concerns about dog fouling. Therefore, please do not bring dogs into the school grounds on any occasion.

Assistance dogs are exempt.

Goodbye to Mrs. Coe
