RISE - Mental Health Support
RISE works in lots of schools across Newcastle, including Regent Farm, to support children and young people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
The charity works with children, parents and teachers to help young people feel more in control and more resilient in managing their wellbeing and mental health.
RISE want to support as many pupils as possible which is why we have adopted a ‘whole school approach’. This means, as well as working directly with young people who need structured support, they also work alongside teachers to plan lessons and deliver training in how to manage specific mental health issues.
By enabling professionals and parents to better support young people’s wellbeing, RISE aim to reach more young people in the long term.
We have included some resources below which parents may find helpful, but if you need any further details please do not hesitate to speak to the school office or Mrs Doonan (our SENCO).
