How did steam power change the world?
This half term we will be focusing on inventors and how their work has changed modern life.
The children will be learn about the local inventor, George Stephenson, and how his invention changed transport in Newcastle and beyond. In art we will look at the printing work of William Morris and be inspired by nature to create our own template for printing. We will work collaboratively to create large scale art.
Over the half term the children will think about the importance of failing at times, and what positive things can come out of this.
