Gizmos and Gadgets
Rockets, Robots and Reinventions
Gizmos and Gadgets is a topic based on building skills of problem-solving.
This half term, our ‘Woodshop’ opens and the children learn skills such as; sawing, drilling, and filing safely. They plan, create and review their design and take their final product home..
We will also invite you in to school to work with your child in making a wooden robot. We will open our ‘Inventor’s Shed’ and use our junk modelling skills to create inventions that help to solve a very usual problem: No-Bot the Robot loses his bottom and we need to help make him a new one!
