What makes the Stone Age so unique?
This half term, the children will travel back in time to the Stone Age period.
Through the engaging story Stone Age Boy, they will develop a deeper understanding of the past and the significant changes that have taken place over time. The book takes the children on a historical journey, introducing them to a time when people were resourceful and innovative in order to survive. As part of this topic, the children will explore what life was like in Britain during the Stone Age, learning about the skills and tools early humans used.
They will also gain firsthand experience of building a campfire — an exciting activity that promotes rich discussions and sparks a variety of writing opportunities.
