From May 25th 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation came into effect. This new law was created to ensure that all data held and processed by organisations within the EU is secure and processed lawfully. For further information you can check the ICO website here: https://ico.org.uk/

Public organisations, schools (and academies) are required to comply with GDPR.

Our current GDPR & Data Protection policy can be found below.

GDPR is central to our day-to-day culture. We already highly value and carefully protect all of our pupil, parent and staff data and we will continue to follow new GDPR legislation, protocols and guidance.

All of the schools in the Gosforth Schools' Trust, including Regent Farm First School, are currently supported by 'Veritau' who regularly update us with the latest GDPR guidance and practice, so that we can all ensure that we remain GDPR compliant.
