Is it too late to save our oceans?

Global Warriors challenges our children to think about the environment and gain a greater understanding of the world we live in and the problems we are currently facing.

The children explore the enquiry question ‘Is it too late to save our oceans? ’through discussions in class and by speaking to professionals at Tynemouth Aquarium. They develop a sense of responsibility, as individuals, for taking care of the environment and looking at sustainable living.

Through the text ‘The tale of a toothbrush’ and the thought-provoking video ‘Catch a lot’ the children understand the consequences of our actions and how this impacts on the wider world.

Using our art skills, we will be creating a printed image to show the effects of coral bleaching on the Great Barrier Reef.
