SEND
At Regent Farm First School we are proud of our happy, caring community where every child is valued and every child is helped to achieve their full potential. Our values of respect, curiosity, teamwork and determination run throughout our school and apply to all of our children including our pupils with SEN. We understand that all children are individuals who need support according to their own individual interests and needs.
The information on this page is designed to give you an overview of the support a child with SEN will receive at our school. This information is general as every child is unique and will receive support, resources and care according to their individual requirements.
Newcastle City Council are aware that parents/carers sometimes need additional support and advice whilst they are waiting for their child(ren) to be seen by a specialist health service. There are a number of different organisations, groups and charities that can provide advice, guidance and support to parents/carers whilst they are waiting for an appointment with a health service. Details can be found using the link below.
